Whistleblowing channel

Anonymous reporting of AI Act infringements. Per Article 87 of the EU AI Act and the Whistleblower Protection Directive (EU) 2019/1937.

What can be reported?

  • Generic non-compliance with EU 2024/1689 (the AI Act)
  • Pattern-level bias affecting multiple users
  • Serious incidents that should have been reported under Article 73
  • Data-governance violations (Article 10(2))
  • Transparency / disclosure breaches (Articles 50, 86)
  • Any other AI-Act-relevant infringement

How anonymity works

  • We do not log who you are.
  • We do not store your IP address or browser identity.
  • We do not check whether you are signed in.
  • We do not email you confirmations — you receive a one-time tracking code on screen.

Source-level locks in the daemon code enforce all of the above. The relevant test is article_87_anonymity_walls_in_submit_source.

Response timelines (Directive Art 9)

  • Acknowledgement within 7 days.
  • Feedback within 3 months.
  • If we cannot meet either deadline, we will say so on the status page for your tracking code.

External channels

You can also report to the AI Office of the European Commission (EU 2024/1689 Art 64) or to your national competent authority (the Dutch AP — autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl — for users in the Netherlands).

Bad-faith reports

Reports made in bad faith are not protected under Directive 2019/1937 Article 6(1). We rely on the good-faith assumption — please use the channel responsibly.
